2016 Campaign Manager
I am both honored and privileged to have been asked to run for Man of the Year for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in Arizona. As you may already know, Leukemia is the leading cause of cancer deaths among society’s most prized possession, our children. Blood cancer patients are in the fight for their lives each and every day. The LLS is on the front lines of this battle, raising critical funds for life saving research and patient support. My Team, Coast to Coast Cures was created to raise money for the research, patient services, and advocacy work of the Leukemia & lymphoma Society, and is deeply inspired by the story of a little girl named Amber. I was first introduced to Amber by a client and friend, Natalie Fernandez. Amber is her niece, a spunky, beautiful child from Tucson, Arizona. Amber was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) at the age of 7. AML is a devastating form of childhood cancer, and if it weren’t for a bone marrow transplant donated by her little brother Benjamin, she may not have won her fight. In the 3 years since Amber has been in remission, she and her family have not stopped working to raise money for cancer research. Research that they – more than most – understand is LIFE-SAVING. So I am joining them! The Man & Woman of the Year Contest begins on April 2nd and ends June 12th. My goal is to raise $50,000 in the next 10 weeks. I’m connecting with everyone I know through letters, emails, phone calls and events. I am confident that together, we can make a HUGE impact on the cancer community for Amber, and others like her around the world. Will you join our Fight??? Remember, when you light a lamp for someone else, you brighten your own path too! Much Love ~ Brint P.S. – All Donations are obviously tax deductible.
